Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 series has been testing the beta channel of the latest Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch for quite some time now; meanwhile, after releasing the stable update for the Galaxy Watch 6 models, the company seems to be ending the One UI 8 Watch beta program for the Galaxy Watch 5 lineup.
Well, Samsung released a second One UI 8 Watch beta a couple of weeks ago, and now, the company has been spotted (via Samsung Community South Korea) ending the One UI 8 Watch beta program for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro (LTE) models.
Notably, it is currently limited in its home country, South Korea and is expected to expand to even more countries over the coming weeks. At the same time, the official notice simply consists of the details about the ending of the latest beta program, and thus, the Watch 5 series owners will finally be getting the official version of One UI 8 Watch.
Well, Samsung’s One UI 8 Watch version is significantly topped with the excellence of Google Wear OS 6, which apparently brought up a handful of features and upgrades that not only take the user experience to the next level, but also bring a few essential features that eventually lead to a healthier and well-maintained user experience.
Also, the latest One UI 8 Watch version brings certain features, catering to its health and wellness initiative, including Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load, Running Coach and Antioxidant Index. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether Samsung expands the features to its generation Galaxy watches like the Galaxy Watch 5 series or keeps them exclusive to the current and newer watch models.
