One UI 8.5: Check out the Galaxy devices eligible for Samsung’s next major software update

Slowly and steadily, Samsung’s One UI 8.5 is taking shape, providing the entire Galaxy audience a slight glimpse of what could be expected from the upcoming major software version. While the One UI 8.5 beta program is perhaps going to begin as early as this month or so, and so are the fans eagerly waiting for the next significant update to arrive.

​Meanwhile, the next major OS, One UI 8.5, is supposed to debut with the Galaxy S26 series, on board; Samsung will be adding a bunch of Galaxy devices to the list.

​Basically, to recall, it was believed that Samsung was supposed to begin the One UI 8.5 beta program by the end of November; however, this was certainly hit by a sudden barrier, and thus, delaying the release, and a new timeline surfaced online.

​Alongside, a host of leaks have already suggested a vision about what Samsung has planned for its next major OS, and not just this, the Galaxy S25 series has already been spotted running on internal One UI 8.5 test builds, signaling its imminent arrival, as the 2025 flagships are the prime contenders.

​Until now, various leaked One UI 8.5 build suggested that the upcoming software is perhaps going to introduce several next level upgrades, including wireless charging enhancement, Now Brief’s improved YouTube and Spotify recommendations, Super fast charging 3.0 with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, return of Dark mode, something interesting for the Galaxy foldables, Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Galaxy Buds 4’s design leaked, to bring a new feature to deal with annoying ad notifications and lot more.

​At the same time, it appears like Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5 is expected to be the most significant upgrade until now, but as always, we have to sit and wait for the official confirmation from Samsung’s side.
