One UI 8.5 gives a modern UI redesign to the Samsung Calendar & Reminder apps

Samsung’s upcoming major software, One UI 8.5, is continuously the trending talk of the town! Slowly and steadily, the entire picture is getting clearer about the newest version, its features, changes, and optimizations.

Meanwhile, after checking out the glimpse of the Clock app, Samsung appears to be bringing something new for the Reminder and Calendar apps as well with the One UI 8.5 version.

Well, the previous report significantly offered a major redesign of the Samsung Clock app, where the company showcased the minimalistic interface of the Clock app that is set to arrive with the upcoming software.

At the same time, a latest report shared by the tipster, Tarun Vats, via X, apparently suggests that not just the Clock app, Samsung’s upcoming software, One UI 8.5, is said to bring a new and upgraded UI of Samsung Calendar and the Reminder apps. It looks like Samsung’s One UI is getting more consistent now!

Specifically, Tarun shared a few screenshots of the leaked One UI 8.5 firmware-based Samsung Calendar and the Reminder apps, and significantly showcased the rounded UI elements, aesthetic pastel colors, and more streamlined layouts that eventually improve the overall visuals, even when staying connected with the other products in the Galaxy ecosystem.

Other than that, the leaked firmware further resembles more or less like a glass-like design equivalent to Apple’s iOS, while also integrating various Galaxy AI tools into the visually appealing aesthetics of the newly-redesigned apps when setting reminders.

Well, this redesign plays a significant role in letting fans believe that Samsung’s upcoming software, One UI 8.5, is a major redesign for the entire One UI ecosystem, superior to the One UI 8.0 version. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether these changes get reflected in the upcoming One UI 8.5 beta or if Samsung plans to schedule them for the official version.
