Samsung’s December 2025 Security Update is available for the Galaxy Tab S10 Series

Samsung seems to be shifting its focus towards its big screen devices, as follows: the flagships, the Galaxy Tab S10 series, have started receiving the ongoing December 2025 security update.

Well, so far, Samsung has delivered the December patch for a handful of Galaxy devices, which include Galaxy S25 series, S24 series, Fold 7, as well as Flip 7, Tab S6 Lite, S21 FE, Galaxy XCover 7, and S25 FE. This time, it’s turn for the Galaxy Tab S10 series to get the latest update.

Basically, as spotted via Samsung’s official community page, the December 2025 security update for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has been identified with the X820XXS5CYK1 version number, respectively. Notably, the update is currently limited to Samsung’s home country, South Korea, and is expected to expand to even more countries in the coming weeks.

At the same time, the December update is; however, a minor patch that is a significant part of Samsung’s monthly security release, it doesn’t bring any major features and changes but it apparently packs a handful of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities, and focuses on improving the device’s overall security, core functionality, and efficiency in order to provide a secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats.

In addition to that, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior and also brings certain performance optimizations that eventually leads to a smoother, stable, and optimized experience for the users.
