Samsung Pushes March 2026 Security Patch to Galaxy S25 Series in the US
Samsung has begun rolling out the March 2026 security patch to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in the United States, following earlier releases in Europe and South Korea.
The update is currently reaching carrier-locked variants of all three phones. It weighs in at 570.65MB and carries firmware version S93*USQS8BZBB. Factory-unlocked units are expected to follow shortly.
This is not a minor housekeeping update. The patch addresses 65 security vulnerabilities, which is a meaningful number for a single monthly cycle. If your Galaxy S25 is your daily driver for banking, work email, or anything sensitive, getting this installed sooner rather than later is the obvious move.
To check for the update manually, head to Settings, then Software Update, and tap Download and Install.
What makes this rollout interesting is the timing. Samsung is simultaneously winding down the One UI 8.5 beta program for the S25 lineup, signaling that the stable release of that software is not far off. So users are getting a security boost now with a more substantial software update likely just around the corner.
For S25 owners in the US, this is a good week to check your update settings.
