Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 9 beta to Galaxy S26 users, and if you’ve been thinking about jumping in early, there’s one thing worth checking first: your Good Lock setup.
Some Good Lock modules don’t survive a major OS update intact. Samsung has acknowledged this and posted a compatibility list on its Korean community forum so users know exactly what they’re walking into.
These modules currently work on One UI 9:
- One Hand Operation Plus
- Sound Assistant
- Keys Cafe
- Theme Park
- Wonderland
- Edge Lightning Plus
- Dropship
- Galaxy To Share
- Routine Plus
- Nice Catch
- Edge Touch
- Camera Assistant
- RegiStar
- Display Assistant
- Nice Shot
- Gallery Assistant
These are still being updated:
- QuickStar
- LockStar
- ClockFace
- NavStar
- Home Up
- MultiStar
- Game Booster Plus
The incomplete list isn’t alarming. Beta software always comes with tradeoffs, and losing temporary access to a lock screen or home screen customization tool is a reasonable price for early access to a new OS.
Samsung has confirmed that all Good Lock modules will be ready by the time the stable One UI 9 release goes public, so the gap should close well before most users update.
