One Piece Fest 2026 Kicks Off Today With Immersive Elbaph Experience

One Piece Fest 2026 opens its doors today. Toei Animation’s first-ever North American One Piece celebration runs August 25 and 26 at Cosm Los Angeles in Inglewood, California, drawing an estimated 7,000 fans across four ticketed sessions. The centerpiece is a specially built “Elbaph Experience” projected onto Cosm’s 87-foot LED dome, tying the event directly to the anime’s ongoing Elbaph Arc.

The festival was timed to coincide with this year’s One Piece Day celebration in Japan, which wrapped up August 22 and 23 at Makuhari Messe. Toei Animation confirmed the Los Angeles event back in April, and ticket access has been running through a lottery system ever since.

One Piece Fest 2026 – What We Know

Cosm Los Angeles is hosting two sessions per day, each capped at 1,750 fans, for a total of four sessions across the two-day run. Every session includes panels, live performances, partner activations, and merchandise sold only at the event. A private VIP preview for special guests and media took place the night before, on August 24.

The festival’s signature attraction is the Elbaph Experience, a 5,000-square-foot presentation displayed in 12K by 10K resolution across Cosm’s dome. It’s designed to immerse fans in the Land of Giants setting from the anime’s current storyline, and it runs continuously throughout both days rather than as a single scheduled show.

Toei Animation has confirmed at least two English dub voice actors for the event: Ian Sinclair, who voices Brook and Scopper Gaban, and Brina Palencia, who voices Tony Tony Chopper. Japanese singer Hiroshi Kitadani, known for performing One Piece opening themes including “We Go!” and “UUUUUS!!,” is also scheduled to perform live. Toei has said more guest names would be announced closer to the event, and additional names could still surface as the festival unfolds.

Tickets were sold exclusively in pairs at $109 per pair through a lottery, with registration closing back in May and winners notified in stages. Toei Animation described this as the launch of an ongoing “All ONE PIECE” concept it plans to keep building on with future fan events.

The Elbaph Arc Connection

The Elbaph Experience exists because of what’s happening in the anime right now. The Elbaph Arc — the second arc of One Piece’s Final Saga — premiered on April 5, 2026, sending the Straw Hat Pirates to the long-teased Land of Giants after more than two decades of buildup dating back to Dorry and Brogy in the East Blue.

Starting with this arc, Toei Animation moved the anime to a reduced 26-episode annual schedule split across two cours, replacing the continuous weekly release pattern the series had followed since its 1999 debut. The studio has said the change gives episodes more room to match the manga’s pacing and detail rather than stretching content to fill a weekly slot.

That real-time overlap between the manga’s biggest current arc and the debut of a fan festival built around it is a big part of why Toei chose Elbaph as the festival’s visual anchor rather than an older, already-resolved storyline.

What This Means for One Piece Fans

A dedicated North American fan festival is a new tier of investment for a franchise that’s largely relied on convention appearances and pop-up experiences in the U.S. until now — including the One Piece Café that opened in Las Vegas in 2024 and the Straw Hat takeovers of the Las Vegas Sphere that followed. One Piece Fest signals Toei wants a recurring, purpose-built event on top of those smaller activations.

For fans who can’t attend in person, the overlap with One Piece Day also means this week doubles as a broader checkpoint for the franchise. One Piece Day ’26 already delivered the results of the second WORLD TOP 100 popularity poll and new casting news for Netflix’s live-action series, so anything additional that surfaces out of the Los Angeles sessions builds on an already newsy week for the franchise.

What’s Next for One Piece Fest

The festival runs through the end of the day on August 26, after which Toei Animation is expected to share recap coverage and photos from the sessions. Given Toei’s framing of this as the start of an ongoing event concept, a return engagement or expansion to additional cities in future years is a reasonable expectation, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
