MAPPA and the series’ official social accounts revealed a new key visual for “The Culling Game Arc Part 2” during Juju Fest 2026, held August 29 and 30 at K-Arena Yokohama in Japan. The image shows Ryomen Sukuna extending a red, demonic hand from the shadows, but no confirmed release window came with it.

Juju Fest 2026 closed out several months of celebrations marking the anime’s fifth anniversary. Beyond the Season 4 visual, the event also brought updates on a stage play, a new bullet-hell game, and additional franchise projects tied to creator Gege Akutami.

A new key visual without a release date is a modest update, but it does confirm Season 4 is far enough along for MAPPA to commission fresh promotional artwork, which is typically a later-stage marketing step rather than an early one. Given the season is adapting some of the most demanding fight sequences in the series, including Gojo’s eventual return, the continued silence on a release window is consistent with a production team prioritizing animation quality over a rushed timeline.
