Published

on

Google has already announced the Android 14 Developer preview for Pixels smartphones and recently unveiled the first beta of Andriod 14, which brings several new features and fixes. (Check out our article here).

Now Samsung users are very curious about the upcoming One UI 6.0 skin, which is also based on Google’s Android 14 OS. They are eagerly waiting to know what this new UI will bring with it or if their wishful feature is coming or not. Today in this article, we will mention all the highly demanded features to arrive in One UI 6.0.

Firstly, let us tell you the One UI 6.0 update will be based on top of Android 14. There is no official information regarding this update or its novelties, but we do find some rumours about it. Informatively, the One UI 6.0 will make its debut in the Galaxy world once Google makes Android 14 available for AOSP. It is possible we will get a beta version of this update by the third quarter of this year, most probably in August or September.

After One UI 6.0’s beta release, we will get a rough idea regarding its features. Because there is plenty of time until it happens, let’s see what users wish to see in this new UI. All the highly demanded features are listed below.

Features that should have in One UI 6.0

  • Seamless Updates- This feature reduces the shutdown time of the screen and lets the user perform any operation in the device while any firmware update is being installed. It may debut in the Galaxy world with the upcoming Galaxy S24 series.
  • Multiuser Profile- The Multiuser Profile feature allows the user to create more than one profiles, which will be different from each other. Previously, it was reported to come with One UI 5, but it didn’t happen; now, it is demanded to come in One UI 6.0.
  • Passkeys for Native Apps- Passkey is a solution to replace traditional passwords that uses a user’s biometrics to make the device or app more securer. It is in demand for One UI 6.0 but will be limited to Galaxy flagship and some premium devices only.
  • Emoji Wallpaper generator- With this feature, users can create wallpapers that will be based on emojis. It is a part of Android 14’s Developer Preview 2. It will be good if Samsung also brings this feature to its One UI 6.0 update.
  • Native App Lock- This feature is widely popular in MIUI, which lets the user set lock for their various applications, which will make the device even more securer. If One UI 6.0 gets this feature, users will no longer need to install a third-party app for it.
  • One UI Boot animation- It will surely deliver an outstanding experience if One UI 6.0 bring One UI’s native Boot animations with it.
  • Pixel Dynamic Colors- Galaxy device or we can say One UI’s Themed icons, and Color Palette is different from stock Android. As Pixel’s Material You is way better than One UI’s, users are demanding Pixel’s Dynamic colours with the One UI 6.0.
  • Redesigned User Interface Elements- It will be beneficial if Samsung redesigned One UI’s elements with One UI 6.0 so that the users will get a different experience. Since One UI’s release, Samsung hasn’t redesigned its UI elements, not even ones.
  • Refined Animations and Visual Effects- Animation and Visual Effects are two major components of any device’s UI; the better they are, the better experience they will deliver. With One UI 6.0, we wish for refinement in them.
  • Tabular Icon and Larger Folder- These two features are also a part of MIUI, which is highly demanded to come in Samsung’s One UI as well. Users want these home screen tweaks to come with the One UI 6.0 update.

These are the features that are in demand to come with One UI 6.0. Besides them, if you want to know which features are expected to come with this update, you can check them out here in our previous article

Other Features:

The well-known tipster MishaalRahman tipped information about Material You, which will make its admirers happy. As per the tipster, Google will make Material You design available for the high-contrast text accessibility option as well. In Android 14, Material You, the dynamic color engine monet will add even better support for dynamic colors, which will make improvements in the high-contrast text’s visibility.

Earlier this month, Samsung officially announced that it will provide one UI 6.1 update to the 2022 flagship device in May. But now the company has surprisingly started rolling out the update to one of the midrange Galaxy A23 devices.

The Verizon network has spotted the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A23, with the firmware version number A236VSQU3CXD3. It has also brought the latest security update in the form of an April 2024 security patch. With the latest update, there are several new features introduced that will add some new features and enhancements.

In detail, the latest update for the Galaxy A23 5G introduces a new battery protection feature that allows users to manage the application’s battery charging to prevent battery damage. There are some new changes in the clock customization, gallery, and Samsung account sections. It is important to note that there is no AI feature arriving in this update.

The update will also enable call continuity, mid-conversation device switching, and seamless communication across any device, such as a Galaxy table, computer, or watch, all connected to the same Samsung account. A small but important addition is a new toggle in the mobile network that allows users to turn off 5G if they don’t need to connect to the update.

If you are using the locked version of the Galaxy A23 on the Verizon network, then you can now update it to the latest version simply by going to the system settings and tapping on the software update. If it shows a new update available, then tap on the download button.

Good Lock Multistar Update

Samsung Multistar is one of the fresh Good Lock modules that provides several new features that allow us to conveniently personalize the multi-window settings, which can improve the experience of multitasking on smartphones and tablets.

Samsung has now rolled out a new update for Multistar with version number 7.1.33. In the latest software update it has brought a new function ‘Maintain Slip Mode’ function, it allows users to keep the screen view active even after closing and reopening apps to enhance productivity on large screens.

Along with the introduction of new features, the latest software update will also improve the navigation bar’s visibility, making it easier for users to manage their devices. Additionally, it resolves a problem where the deletion of app data would cause the settings to reset.

If you are using a Good Lock-compatible smartphone, you can now uninstall MultiStar with the latest version via the Galaxy Store, or if you have already installed the MultiStar application, you can update it through the Galaxy Store. It is worth noting that the update is available for those who own Galaxy devices running on One UI 6.0 or One UI 6.1.

For starters, Good Lock’s MultiStar module offers a variety of useful options for multi-tasking functionality, such as the ability to launch games and apps through the external display of Flip series devices. It allows users to hide the status bar and navigation bar in the split-screen view, and similarly, there are a lot of features available that provide a whole new experience for managing multitasking.
