[Carrier-locked] Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy A53 5G getting December 2022 update in the United States

As of now, the Carrier locked variant of the Galaxy S10 device is now receiving the December 2022 security patch, the update is currently rolled out on Verizon’s network

The update comes with a new firmware version number G973USQS8IVL2, G975USQS8IVL2 and G970USQS8IVL2 for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e respectively.

It is also worth noticing that the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10 is also receiving the same update with version number G977UVRSAHVL3.

The carrier-locked Galaxy A53 5G variant is now receiving the December 2022 security patch on T-Mobile and Verizon networks.

Users who own the Galaxy A53 5G device can identify the December 2022 update by its build number A536VSQS4BVL2 and A536USQS4AVL1 for Verizon and T-Mobile, respectively.
