Samsung has released the latest security update for its two more Galaxy devices including Galaxy S20 and Galaxy A52.

According to the information, the January 2023 security update is currently rolling out in Australia.

The update can be identified by its firmware version number G981BXXSFGWA9, G986BXXSFGWA9 and G988BXXSFGWA9 for Galaxy S20 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, respectively.

While the Galaxy A52 receives the same update with version number A526BXXS2DWA7

The January 2023 update is a general security maintenance update that doesn’t bring any new features, but it brings some new patches that address several security vulnerabilities.

According to official documentation, the update includes 50+ patches and 20 patches, which resolves some security loopholes so that your private information doesn’t leak anywhere.
