Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 updated to December 2022 security patch in United States

After updating the Galaxy S22 device in several regions last week, Samsung is now rolling out the December 2022 security update in the US. The carrier-unlocked variant of the Galaxy S22 series models is receiving the latest security update.

According to the Samsung documentation, the latest patches include the fix to as many as 93 vulnerabilities, 67 of them common to (almost) all Android devices.

Samsung is working round the clock and providing the latest firmware updates for its Galaxy devices, Nowadays the company is providing two kinds of firmware updates including Android 13 and security updates for its eligible devices. 

1. On your Galaxy devices, head into your settings. 2. Scroll to the bottom and click on Software update. 3. Tap Download and install. 4. Wait for your device to check for updates. 5. If a security update is available, you can hit Install now.
