Samsung is rolling out a new January 2023 security patch to carrier-locked Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 series

The January security update is currently rolling out to carrier-locked by Xinfinty and Comcast Galaxy S22 series in the US.

The new firmware carries S901USQS2BWA2, S906USQS2BWA2, and S908USQS2BWA2 for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, respectively.

The update includes the January 2023 update, which includes fixes over 50 Android OS vulnerabilities that were marked as “High” in the January 2023 security patch changelog.

This update will fix a variety of issues, as well as add some features to enhance user experience.

Samsung advises all users of these devices to install the latest security patch as soon as possible, information leakage and elevation of privilege vulnerabilities.
