Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are Samsung’s flagship smartphones. It makes sense that these high-end phones will get updated regularly.

This time, the update improves the camera of Galaxy Z Fold 3, adapting the highly appreciated Galaxy S22’s photo & video capturing capabilities and security level patch, bug fixes, etc.

According to the changelogs of devices and user-reported screenshots, here is the updated information:

Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G (SM-F711B): The device received a June update (Security Patch Level: May 1, 2022) with firmware no. F711BXXU2CVEB and Download size of 1142.10 MB in EU. The following apps were updated with this firmware- Samsung Notes, Add-ons, Galaxy Wearable, Samsung Internet, SmartThings, Calculator Smart Switch, and Voice recorder.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G (SM-F926B): The device received a June update(Security Patch Level 2022-05-01) with firmware no. F926BXXU1CVEB.The update translates the following improvements-

Camera: Night function is improved.

Telephoto lens support was added in Pro mode.

Auto Picture Adjustment function was disabled for video mode and some apps for video calls.

Quality enhancement of pictures taken with social or camera apps.

According to the changelog, this patch includes security and privacy issues fix but is not limited to it, it can also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements and improves overall system stability.

It is expected from this update to roll out to other regions as well.
