Samsung Files Patent For New Technology Wireless Charger+

According to a regular a report about smartphone tech development. Samsung filed a trademark application with EUIPO, European Union Intellectual Property Office, for a new wireless charger tech called Samsung Wireless Charger+.

The trademark no. filed was 018713898, awaiting the examination, has been accepted by the Office (has met the minimum filing requirements) and has not yet been assigned to an examiner.

The description at the EUIPO shows a class 9 Nice device hinting at a wireless charger.

We already know that Samsung has chargers like The Trio, which can charge up to 3 devices simultaneously with room to hold three devices simultaneously. It comes with a 9v 25 w capacity with Qi Technology

, i.e., named from Asian philosophy, meaning ”vital energy’ – Qi is the worldwide standard for wireless charging technology. Devices with Qi stamps are compatible with all Qi chargers meaning chargers can also support Qi-compatible devices like iPhones.

With this kind of tech that Samsung has, it would not be hard to believe that Samsung is developing something even more, better that could outperform current charging devices in the market.

No official confirmation has been received as of now & not much info is available about the device now. Still, it is confirmed that Samsung is currently developing this tech by seeing this leak and the EUIPO application filed by Samsung.
