Samsung One UI 5.0 Changelog: All New Features

After several leaks, the South Korean company officially announced the One UI 5.0 based on the Android 13 beta program. And it is expected, it comes with numerous new features and changes for a better experience.

One UI 5.0 is a slight redesign of the notification panel with respect to One UI 4. With the new interface comes OCR (Optical Character Recognition) support, thanks to which users can copy text from images on Gallery and keyboard. When the system locates text in an image, it shows a key to retrieve it.

Other new features should include improvements to the security and privacy section (where you can find all your accounts, passwords, security, and privacy features), with suggestions for less experienced users.

Another new features include collaboration in Samsung Notes, apps active in quick settings, the device image on the smartphone information page, and the UWB switch in settings.
