T-Mobile Galaxy Z Fold 3 Upgrades To September 2022 Security Firmware

Previously, the South Korean giant Samsung has already provided Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 in limited regions including the US. And we expect it is soon available for all carrier-locked and unlocked variant in the country. However, it hasn’t yet reached the T-Mobile customers.

Moreover, the Samsung has started distributing the latest security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The firmware carries Android September 2022 security patch on the build version F926U1UEU2DVI2.

According to the changelog, this software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues and apply the latest security patches.

The latest September 2022 update fixes more than 24 vulnerabilities: MTP driver issues have been fixed, memory access errors in various functions, improper access control, SystemUI privilege issues, and issues in Photo Editor, a bug that could have allowed an attacker to initiate emergency calls remotely and beyond. This time, none is marked as critical among the several vulnerabilities cited by Samsung.
