A good hat-trick of software updates for Samsung smartphones: the models impacted by these latest updates include Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G, Z Fold 2, and Z Flip 5G.

Samsung’s team of developers has started releasing an update that brings October’s security patches to Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G, Z Fold 2, and Flip 5G. The update brings the three smartphones to firmware versions F907BXXU6HVI5 (Fold 5G), F916BXXS2HVI8 (Fold 2), and F707BXXU7HVI3(Z Flip 5G).

The update is already available in European regions and is expected to reach other countries soon.

However, they will be disappointed to find that the update does not bring any new features. Only the new security patch is included in the update. The latest October 2022 security patch fixes over 40 security vulnerabilities.

It fixed security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Some of those vulnerabilities allowed unauthorized users to access call information, the device’s serial number, configuration data, and secure memory content and allowed them to perform malicious actions.

As anticipated, the new update is in distribution on the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G, Z Fold 2, and Z Flip 5G in Europe If you do not receive the notification, you can manually check availability via:
