Google begins a process of smartphone upgrades for millions of users with the official release of Android 13 for Pixel phones. Several OEMs will roughly update hundreds of phone models with new software throughout the following 12 months. Samsung is the most prominent phone manufacturer and will upgrade most devices.
One UI 5.0 Features:
- New customizing the user interface. There will be 16 different themes based on specific shades. New customization options for widgets as well.
- New Lock Screen customization options
- New customizations of language and sounds. You will be able to set different languages on different apps.
- The dashboard arrives to see all security options quickly.
- New options are coming for the camera. Pro and Pro Video shooting modes are also coming.
- More accessibility options.
Samsung has already opened the beta program of the new version of its customization layer, One UI 5.0-based on Android 13. Currently the beta program is available for limited devices in some regions.
