Samsung finally made the One UI 5.0 beta program available for the recently introduced Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. It took some time, but it happened. The company’s support channel in the United States confirmed the news.

If you live in the United States and have a Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Galaxy Z Fold 4, you can now test the One UI 5.0 software based on Android 13 on your phone. To do this, you need to download and install the Samsung Members app on your phone, log in using your Samsung account and tap on the One UI 5.0 Beta program ad banner on the app’s home screen.

Also according to Samsung, after finishing the registration process, the user will be notified when the software is released on his smartphone. You can also manually check availability: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Samsung also cautions that the patch contains numerous issues that could negatively impact regular user experience. Therefore, to avoid any losses, only experienced users should install the One UI 5.0 beta on their devices. It is also advised that all files be backed up.

Although a precise release date for the software for foldable devices is not yet known, some branded handsets should soon get the stable Android 13 update.
