Samsung Users Are Missing Two Major Features In The Latest One UI 5

Samsung removed two features from One UI: Samsung, the tech giant, recently released the 5th beta update for its upcoming UI theme ‘One UI 5’ based on ‘Android 13’. It is currently available for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra users. Samsung has removed two major features from this, one from the 4th beta update and the other from the 5th beta update.

The company removed the ‘Multiple User Support’ and ‘Bixby Text Call’ feature, respectively, from the 4th beta update and the 5th beta update of the same. We can expect both of these in the stable version. It is assumed that the 5th beta update of this generation could be the last beta update, and the stable version may release before the end of this month. Let’s take a look at both of these features.

Multiple User Support

The ‘Multiple User Support’ feature lets you set up individual user accounts for various users. This provides access to use the device with a more personalized experience and settings such as email accounts, wallpaper preferences, and more like these. It can usually be seen in tablets, PCs and some foldable devices and is currently available in mobile devices based on ‘Android 12’ also. Samsung removed it on the 4th beta update of ‘One UI 5,’ but one can expect the same in its stable version.

Bixby Text Call

The ‘Bixby Text Call’ feature is related to calling that can convert someone’s voice into text with the help of its AI ‘Bixby’ and convert other one’s audio into text also. It can help users to communicate during a busy or noisy atmosphere without any hindrance. It is available in Korean with ‘One UI 4.1.1’ at the moment, and the company was about to release it in English also, but with the 5th beta update, Samsung has removed it completely. Possibilities are this may also come back with its stable version.
