Unlocked Galaxy S20 FE Gets October 2022 Security Update In The US

Samsung started serving its new security update in October 2022 in late September. Several Galaxy smartphones are getting this update, whereas Galaxy S20 FE 5G is receiving the same update.

In the initial stage, this software is now available for Unlocked Galaxy S20 FE 5G users with firmware version G781U1UEU9EVI8 in the US. But Samsung already distributed the update for carrier-locked and international variants a couple of weeks ago. This update brings more security as well as the overall performance of the device.

As per the changelog, it can be identified that the update will fix several bugs and vulnerabilities that would be better for the device’s overall security.
