Carrier-locked Galaxy S21 FE December 2022 security update in the US
As usual, Samsung once again brings a new update for the Fan Edition of the Galaxy S21 device, while the original series already received the December 2022 security update a few days ago. It is also noticeable that the preceding device, i.e., Galaxy S21 FE Verizon unit, has also received the latest security update.
According to the information, the December 2022 security update is now available for the carrier-locked variant of the device on Xfinity Mobile’s network. It comes with firmware version number G990USQS4DVL1; we guess that the update will be available on the other networks in the next few days.
The December 2022 security patch update brings several fixes which resolve around 93 security vulnerabilities. The update also includes some improvements that enhance the overall performance and stability of the device.
