As of now, Samsung has rolled out the December 2022 security patch update for two devices, including the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones. Currently, the update is available in the US.

Carrier locked variant of the Galaxy S20 devices are now receiving the December 2022 security patch update in the US; users who own the device can identify the latest update by its build number G981USQS3GVKA, G986USQS3GVKA and G988USQS3GVKA for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra respectively. It is also worth noting that the device initially got the December 2022 security update in Europe

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite

The Galaxy S10 Lite is receiving the December 2022 security update. Notably, the update is available for the unlocked variant of the device; the new firmware update carries a new version number G770U1UES6GVL2. Being released after one year to its original series devices, it is enjoying the advantage and gets the latest android update Android 13.

As per the information, the December 2022 security update includes over 90 fixes which improve the overall performance and stability of the device; the update may also bring reliability features which optimize your device system to support the recent Android 13 update.
