Samsung updates Galaxy A12 to December 2022 patch in Korea, Europe, the US, and several regions

Samsung is now rolling out a new update for Galaxy A12; it carries a new security patch in the form of December 2022. As a budget range device, the Korean giant has listed the device in the quarterly update category, which means the device is eligible for receiving four updates per year, and currently, the device is receiving the last update for this year.

According to the information, the Galaxy A12 is receiving a December 2022 security update in the US for the carrier-locked variant with build number A125USQS5CVL6. The South Korean variant of the device with a different firmware version number A125NKSU2CVL1 and the device also received the same update as its global variant, which carries a new firmware version number, A125FXXU2CVL1.

Meanwhile, the carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy A12 is getting the December 2022 security update on US Cellular’s network, and the international variant of the device is getting the update in several countries, including Caucasus Countries, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

December 2022 security includes several patches, which are added by Google and Samsung both, which provides extra protection to your device by fixing various security variability. As per Samsung’s official documentation, it also comes with some system-level improvements that give your device more stability as well as enhance its performance.

The Galaxy A12 smartphone was launched in 2020 and came with Android 10 onboard. However, the device is currently running on Android 12, and it is also eligible for the new Android update; users of the Galaxy A12 will receive the Android 13 on their devices in the coming days.
