T-Mobile Galaxy Z Flip 3 gets Android 13 and One UI 5.0 in the US

Samsung is giving new updates daily to its Galaxy devices for the completion of Android 13 distribution. And to fulfill this program, the company has made Android 13-based One UI 5.0 skin available to many of its Galaxy devices. In the initial stage of the Android 13 rollout, Samsung has served the update to its flagship smartphones in several regions.

As of now, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is now receiving an Android 13 update in the US; the update is available for the carrier-locked variant, which is affiliated with the T-Mobile network. Users who own this device can identify the latest update by checking the firmware version number F711USQU3EVK5. However, it still uses the one-month older security patch as of November 2022.

According to the changelog, the One UI 5.0 includes several new enhancements regarding the user interface; there are some new features added under inbuilt apps, including a camera, Gallery, photo and video editor, and more. The new One UI update also includes new interesting customization tools which can be easily accessible through the lock screen. It also includes some improvements for the existing features, including RAM Plus, Auto optimization, SOS, and more.

Galaxy Z Flip 3 device is the third generation smartphone of the Z Flip series. It was launched in 2021 and came with Android 11. Being a flagship series smartphone, Samsung has listed the device in its latest policy of updates, and for that reason, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 device is eligible for four Android updates and five years of security updates irrespective of the launch date.
