Samsung internally testing the One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy S21 series

The South Korean firm Samsung has started testing its upcoming customized skin One UI 5.1. As per the previously found reports, the testing for the soon-to-be-launched Galaxy S23 has been completed in all stages; even the company has stretched it to the currently available flagship Galaxy S22 series as well. Notably, we have now got some information regarding its testing for the Galaxy S21 series. Let’s take a brief look at the information we have received.

How the One UI 5.1 will be different from One UI 5.0, know the expected changes here

Let us tell you that recently, Samsung has started testing One UI 5.1 for the device with model no. SM-G998B, which is the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Samsung would be internally testing the One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy S21Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra with firmware version G99xBXXU5EVL9. As the update is reported for the One UI category, it is undoubtedly One UI 5.1.

When the One UI 5.1 will be launched officially?

For those who are unaware, One UI 5.1 is being launched as a successor to One UI 5.0. It will officially be introduced with the Galaxy S23 series out of the box, which is expected to be launched by the first week of February, on February 1st, 2023, as the reports suggested. Besides the S23 series, the One UI 5.1 will also move on to the other eligible Galaxy devices as well in due course of time. 

According to the information from Galaxy S21’s testing, the One UI 5.1 will reach other eligible devices in March or April because major updates take nearly a few months to reach new devices.
