Samsung’s first phone that will go up to Android 17

Samsung is one of the most punctual companies in terms of software updates. As you know, the Korean giant always pre-mentioned the updates for the device that it is eligible for up to a fixed number of updates in 2020. The company has made a policy of three years of Android updates for its several Galaxy devices; after two years, in 2022, it revised its policy and increased its Android update up to four for the devices which were just launched after the policy.

The Korean giant has updated several Galaxy devices to new android updates to keep its promise. Continuing this, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra

will be the first smartphones eligible for Android 17. Because the device obviously comes with Android 13 pre-installed, or it may also be picked up with One UI 5.1. However, all the premium range devices released will be launched after this device.

Availability 

Samsung is all set to organise a dedicated event for launching Galaxy S23, named Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place on 1st Feb. It will be a public event. The company could also disclose some more devices, such as Galaxy Book 3 series laptops, Galaxy Tab S9 series, Galaxy Buds2 etc.
