Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Fold 2

The carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 3 is receiving the January with version number F926USQS2EWA2 on the Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks. On the other hand, the carrier-unlocked variant of Galaxy Fold 2 is receiving the same update. Currently, it is available on Comcast, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile networks in the US. The update comes with version number F916U1UEU2IVLA.

Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G

The latest update comes with new version numbers F711USQS3EWA2 and F707USQS3GWA1 for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Flip 5G, respectively. The latest update brings the January 2023 security update for both of the devices, which is currently available for locked variants affiliated with Comcast and Xfinity. As per the information, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Flip 3 are enjoying monthly security updates, but as time passes, they will be downgraded to quarterly updates, which means the device will be eligible for the four security updates annually.

January 2023 update brings bug fixes

Moreover, the January 2023 update is a type of monthly security update that Google provides for fixing the known issues that strengthen the security of the device. If we talk about the update in detail, it has several fixes, which Google and Samsung include. In detail, there are 52 patches added by Google which are marked as High priority. Along with these, Samsung has also included 20 other patches which are specially designed for its Galaxy devices.
