Galaxy A33 starts receiving January 2023 security update

Samsung launched the Galaxy A33 5G in March of last year. It came with Android 12 onboard and received the major Android update Android 13. The Korean giant has released this device to manage the midrange market, and with its specification, the Galaxy A33 performed well.

Coming to the latest update, the Galaxy A33 5G is currently receiving the latest update in the form of a January 2023 security update in Korea; users can identify the update by its firmware version number A336NKSS2BWA2. However, the update may get expanded to other regions soon.

The January 2023 update is part of the monthly security update program, which is run by google to make Android devices more secure and stable against external threats. Moreover, the update includes several patches that Google and Samsung include for Galaxy devices.

• Go to the device settings
• Then click on the software updates button
• Now tap on download and install 
• wait until the search is finished,
