One UI 5.1 missing in latest software update for Galaxy S21 FE in the US

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users in the US recently received a new software update, but to their disappointment, the latest update did not include the much-awaited One UI 5.1. The absence of the latest version of Samsung’s user interface has left many users wondering what to expect from the latest update and what improvements and features it brings to their devices. However the latest skin update has already been rolled out for European users.

The Korean giant has started pushing the latest February 2023 security patch for the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone users in the US. The update is currently rolling out on the US Cellular network. The carrier has confirmed that the update is being pushed in phases and should be available to all US Cellular Galaxy S21 FE users soon.

Samsung’s latest One UI 5.1 update to arrive on 18 devices in Q1, 2023

The latest update for the carrier-locked Galaxy S21 FE carries firmware version G990USQS4DWA1 and gets the Android February 2023 security patch, and notes include fixes for several high-impact vulnerabilities, including five critical, 43 High, 0 moderate & 8 already included in previous updates, also 4 Not applicable to Samsung devices. Moreover, Samsung has addressed some security loopholes and variabilities in several functions and apps such as WindowManagerService, UwbDataTxStatusEvent, Secure Folder, Phone application, Contacts, Fingerprint, etc. 

Users are advised to check their device’s settings for the software update to ensure they are running the latest version. It is worth noting that the update size may vary based on the current software version and the device’s model.
