New software update for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy S20 FE, and Galaxy A52 available in the US

Samsung has updated several devices with the latest security update till now; from the starting week of the month after successfully organizing the Galaxy unpacked event, the company has started rolling out the February 2023 security updates for the eligible Galaxy devices. The Korean giant has expanded the update to several regions, and now the company has turned the updates towards the US as there are still many devices left there.

Notably, the February 2023 update is now available for three Galaxy devices, including Galaxy Fold2, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy S20 FE. It is also worth noticing that the new update is available for the unlocked carrier variant of two devices- Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy S20FE, while the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is receiving on the Sprint network, which means only the devices which are affiliated to the Sprint network are eligible for installing the new update.

The February 2023 update can be identified by the firmware version numbers A526U1UES7DWB2 and G781U1UES9FWB1 for the Galaxy A52 5G

 and Galaxy S20FE, respectively, while the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will receive the new update with version number F916USQS2IWB2.

List of One UI 5.1.1 eligible Samsung Galaxy devices

The latest update brings some new patches, which Google and Samsung include in detail, Google has added over 50 patches, and Samsung has also packed some more patches which target the security vulnerabilities of several functions and fixes for its Galaxy devices.

Moreover, this is primarily focused on strengthening the security of the devices, but it sometimes brings some extra improvements and enhancements which enhance the performance and stability of the device.
