Samsung, one of the leading players in the market, recently launched its new mid-range smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Samsung Galaxy A34 5G. The cameras of these phones have caught the attention of photography enthusiasts and tech experts alike. It is dedicated to those who are looking for a valid assistant for the common activities of everyday life.

In this context, the DxOMark staff has decided to test the cameras of these phones, starting with the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and now moving on to the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G. In this article, we will explore the findings of this comprehensive camera test and shed light on the performance of the Galaxy A34 5G’s camera in different settings.

During the DxOMark test, the Galaxy A34 5G gained 99 points for photos, 45 points for the Bokeh effect, 48 points for preview, 76 points for zoom, and 78 points for videos, for an overall result of 92 points, thanks to which it conquers the 97th position in the special ranking.

In addition to the overall results, DxOMark also conducted specific tests to evaluate the performance of Samsung’s mid-range smartphone in different conditions of use. Outdoors, the device performed exceptionally well, capturing vibrant and well-exposed images with accurate colors. However, in low light and indoor conditions, the camera struggled with noise and limited dynamic range, resulting in less detailed and slightly blurry images.

When it comes to group shots, the camera managed to capture good images with natural-looking skin tones and decent exposure. The Bokeh effect, which adds a blur to the background of the image, also produced impressive results with good subject isolation and natural-looking bokeh.

In terms of positive reviews, testers praised the camera’s fast autofocus speed, good exposure, and video stabilization, which resulted in smooth and steady videos. However, some negative reviews were related to artifacts in moving scenes and limited dynamic range, which affected the quality of the images in certain conditions.

Overall, Samsung’s mid-range smartphone performed well in DxOMark’s tests, scoring high in several categories and competing with high-end devices. While there were some shortcomings in low light and indoor conditions, the device’s camera capabilities are impressive, making it a worthy contender in the mid-range smartphone market.
