The Mountain View company Google constantly brings new features and options to its applications, devices, OS (Android and WearOS), and other services, which helps to make their users’ day-to-day life easy. In this novelties list, Google has recently added one more, which is the synchronization of devices and their applications. This novelty is a part of Google Play which means it will benefit Galaxy users too. Let’s take a look at it.

Informatively, this new ability to synchronize devices is indeed helpful and time-saving. The good thing about it is it works with WearOS-booted accessories too. Notably, with this new feature, one would be able to synchronize their Galaxy phone with other smartphones and WearOS devices such as Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 which will help to perform certain operations in all the devices just by performing it in the main device.

To put it in simpler words, we can say that if we install or download any application on the main device, it will automatically be started to install in the synchronized devices as well. In terms of the WearOS

booted Galaxy Watches, it will happen only when the given application is compatible with WearOS devices too. However, this amazing and beneficial novelty does have some limitations which are listed below.

Talking about limitations, this feature works to download or install only, you can’t update any app with it. Besides, it is also bad that it won’t work for those apps that are already installed on the device before synchronizing it. To use this feature, you can see the option in the menu that appears in the upper right corner of the screen and then you can choose devices from the list of the devices on which your Google account is opened.
