Galaxy S10’s final security update before its official support ends

As the time for the launch of a new Android version draws near, the time of the end of the eligibility to receive updates for many older devices is also drawing near. There are plenty of devices out there that are getting their last and final software update at that time, including security patches, OS updates, and UI versions. Some of these devices are the S10 devices, which have recently got their final security update and said goodbye.

Informatively, there are three Galaxy S10 models: the base Galaxy S10, the bigger Galaxy S10 Plus, and the budget model Galaxy S10e. All these three devices were launched in the year 2019 and are promised to receive four years of security patches. As for OS, all three of them were launched with Android 9 (Pie) and already received their final Android 12 and One UI 4.1 updates, and now they have got the final security update too.

Let us tell you the Galaxy S10 lineup has recently received the February security patch update with firmware version G97*USQU8IWB5. This update doesn’t contain too many utilities and advancements but brought performance improvements only. As the device was launched back in 2019 and is eligible for four years of a security patch, this is the last year for this device to get these patches.
