Verizon Galaxy S20 and S21 FE join March 2023 update in the US

Samsung has very aggressively distributed the One UI 5.1 update to eligible Galaxy devices, and without taking any break company has started rolling out the latest security patch in the form of March 2023; this update is also reached most of the Galaxy devices present around the world, but due to the carrier issues the expanding of the update is getting late, however, it is gradually reaching to the remaining device.

Notably, the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 are now getting the new update in the US. As per the information, the carrier-locked variant of the device, which is affiliated with the Verizon network, is getting the update.

Users can easily identify the update by its build version number G990USQU5EWC1 and G981VSQS3HWC3 for Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 (base), respectively. It is worth noticing that only the Galaxy S20s base variant is getting the new update. The other models, including Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra, received the update yesterday. It is the first post update that comes after One UI 5.1

The update has reached the locked variant of Galaxy S21FE and Galaxy S20(base) affiliated with Verizon. If you are using the same devices, you will get a notification of the update availability. But in case you don’t get any notification yet, you can also check it manually by going to the system settings.
