The Carrier unlocked variant of Galaxy S21 FE is now getting the March 2023 security patch in the US. The locked variant has already been received on several networks like Verizon. The same update is already available for other countries as well.

The latest update is now rolling out for the unlocked variant of Galaxy S21 FE. Users can identify it by the firmware version number G990U1UEU5EWB7. Currently, the update is available on several networks, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Spectrum Mobile, Xfinity Mobile(Comcast), Tracfone, AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South US, Cricket Wireless, Nextech / C-Spire, US Cellular, and Verizon.

The latest update brings March 2023 security patch, it includes several patches which are added by Google and Samsung. In detail, Google brings the patches that fix the vulnerabilities present in the Android OS. Samsung adds some extra resolutions that strengthen the security of Galaxy devices.

Moreover, the update may also contain some more improvements which enhance the overall stability and performance of the features which have recently come with the One UI 5.1 update, so if you are facing any problems after installing One UI 5.1, it is highly recommended to install the March security patch on your device.
