European units of Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 enjoy One UI 5.1 update

Currently, the update is rolling out for both of the devices in Europe. The One UI 5.1 update comes with version number A715FXXU8DWB5 for Galaxy A71. While the Galaxy A51 is getting the same update by version number A515FXXU6HWC7. The new update for both devices also includes February 2023 security patch. 

The update is only available for the LTE variant devices, while the 5G variants already received the same update a few days ago in different countries. Being a major update, it will be gradually available for all devices globally.

One UI 5.1 New Features 

Being a major update, it comes with a massive size with more than 1 GB of file size, and it brings many new improvements, which can be seen under various system-level apps, including weather, Samsung internet modes and routines, and many more(for detailed information check out this). This update aims to expand the functionality of built-in apps, and it unlocks more things that are absent in One UI 5.0. Apart from these, it also includes some new features like a battery widget

 and also supports the screenshot and screen recorder location change feature, which will surely make your device more interesting.

The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 are both mid-range phones which were launched back in 2019. Both of the devices come with Android 10 preinstalled, and later Samsung rolled out some new major updates; therefore, both of the devices are currently running on Android 13. Being four years older devices, they are no longer eligible for any further Android updates. However, you will continue to receive some more updates in the form of security patches for a minimum of one more year.
