Galaxy S23 gets big camera features with April 2023 update in Australia

After addressing many issues regarding the camera functionalities of Galaxy S23 series devices, Samsung has released a massive update with the April 2023 security patch, which comes with additional security enhancements.

The update is now available for Galaxy S23 in Australia. However, the Korean giant has already updated the device in several other countries, which are present in the European region and North American region. 

The April 2023 update is rolling out for Galaxy S23 in Australia with version numbers S911BXXU1AWC8, S916BXXU1AWC8 and S918BXXU1AWC8 for Galaxy S23 base, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra, respectively.

Galaxy S23 gets camera enhancements with April 2023 security patch

Samsung has pushed a massive update that brings many improvements for enhancing the features of the camera of the device, such as Gallery operations have been optimized; the autofocus feature now gets new options. With the ultra-wide camera, videos will now be sharper in low-light conditions. Furthermore, some bugs have also been fixed, like it has resolved the green line bug, which is affecting the images.

Moreover, the April security patch includes several vulnerability fixes that improve the overall functioning of the device. In detail, there are over 50 patches which Google includes so it can fix the issues present in Android OS, while Samsung has also resolved 15 more additional issues which are present in the Galaxy devices exclusively.

Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy S23 device in the Flagship segment; the device offers the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 overclocked processor exclusively. The Ultra model is backed with a 200MP sensor camera which is the first-ever smartphone in the world. Moreover, it has come with the promise of five years of the software update in which four Android updates will be available and five years of the security patch.
