Breaking: Samsung releases major camera update for Galaxy S23 in the US
The Galaxy S23 Series offers impressive camera performance but was released with minor problems that needed correction. In recent weeks, rumours indicated that the South Korean would release an update to improve camera performance. And Samsung has already started distributing the update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra in South Korea, India, China, Australia & Europe
Now finally, the company is serving the big camera update along with April 2023 security patch for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the United States on the T-Mobile network. It has firmware versions S911USQU1AWC8, S916USQU1AWC8, and S918USQU1AWC8 and weighs approximately 941.46 MB.

The company has confirmed that it has made significant improvements to the camera’s performance. According to a recent post, Samsung has focused on improving the speed and accuracy of autofocus, along with increasing the speed of the Camera and Gallery applications.
Furthermore, the update includes corrections to the sharpness of the ultra-wide-angle camera in low-light situations and the refinement of the optical image stabilization performance. Additionally, the update addresses blurs in some camera modes, providing a more seamless user experience. These updates are set to enhance the already impressive camera capabilities of the Galaxy S23, making it a top choice for photography enthusiasts.
- A function has been added to the gallery so that you can immediately delete photos that are being processed immediately after taking them with the camera.
- For faster photo taking, the AF concept has been changed so that when the user presses the shooting button, the user can take a photo even when the focus is not completely set.
However, if you want to shoot after completing Focus as before, please change the settings in the latest Camera Assistant.

※ Camera Assistant > Shooting Speed > High Resolution > Select Speed Priority > Camera > Night Off or Scene Optimizer Off - Fixed an issue where face recognition could not be recognized intermittently after ending a 3rd party video call.
- Stability has been improved for camera movements introduced through other routes.
