Samsung’s confirmed One UI 6.0 supported Galaxy device list: Is your phone eligible?

The Android community is buzzing with excitement as The Mountain View hill company recently launched the Android 14 beta 1 publicly. While the software is currently only available for Pixels, it offers a sneak peek at the new features and changes that will be coming to the Android platform.

Samsung lovers are eagerly anticipating the release of Android 14-based One UI 6.0 and what it has in store for them. However, until the official release, the Korean giant users are also eagerly anticipating the list of devices that will receive the Android 14 update.

Samsung’s update policy

Being the largest smartphone manufacturer and having a big number of devices, Samsung has declared a policy of four Android updates and five-year support of security updates for select devices; here you can see the list:

The Korean giant has also said that the Galaxy devices which are not mentioned in the list are still eligible for receiving three android updates. As you can see from the list, the company has mentioned the S series devices from Galaxy S21 to the upcoming, and the Z series devices from Fold 3 to the upcoming as well as Galaxy Tab series devices from Galaxy Tab S8 to upcoming, will be eligible for four Android updates.

While the selected A series devices will get four Android updates in the future, for your information, the list is taken from the official statement of Samsung, which came on Feb 10, 2022, since then several of the devices have already got new Android updates, and by analyzing the policy we have created a list of Samsung devices which will receive Android 14 and One UI 6.0 in future, let’s see it together:

The list of eligible models was compiled using Samsung’s update guidelines. With the release of the Galaxy S21 in 2021, South Korea has continued to offer the “S” line’s four operating system updates. The Galaxy S20 will now be formally phased out. Updates for the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra shouldn’t be released.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 won’t get any more Android updates this year, either. Its most recent upgrade, which combined One UI 5.1 with Android 13. For a few months, the folder should continue to get security upgrades.
