One UI 6 is the Korean firm’s new-generation User Interface, which will be based on the upcoming Android 14. This 6th generation of Samsung’s One UI will be rich in terms of novelties, specifically in customization-related features. If you are wondering when this software will arrive on the market, let us tell you it will be possible only after Google launches stable Android 14 for AOSP, which may happen in July.

Notably, once Android 14 becomes available for AOSP, other manufacturers, including Samsung, will start to work on their UIs. As for Samsung, we are expecting One UI 6’s Beta testing to start in August. Then, its stable version will arrive within two months. About its offering, we can say blindfolded; most of the Android 14 novelties will benefit One UI 6 as well. If you want to know more about it, you can get the information here

Now, let’s move on to our main topic, what Galaxy devices will receive One UI 6 prior to others. First, we will take a look at its requirements, which is nothing except Android 14. In simpler words, all Galaxy devices that are eligible to get Android 14 will get One UI 6, too (you can check the eligible device list here

). As for prior devices, Samsung hasn’t revealed anything, but we can get an idea from previous update distribution programs.

Samsung always launches the latest One UI version for its smartphone flagship of the year before others. In One UI 6’s case, this year’s flagship is the Galaxy S23 series. Consequently, Samsung will first serve One UI 6 to Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices, followed by the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 devices. The list will then go on to include older Galaxy S, Note, and Z foldable phones.

After touching all the flagship and premium devices’ milestones, the One UI 6 software will move on to mid-range Galaxy phones, starting with the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 phones. Lastly, Samsung will make the UI available for the rest of the lower-range and entry-level eligible Galaxy models. Besides we have also compiled a list regarding Galaxy devices that are not eligible for One UI 6, which you can check here.
