Samsung never leaves an opportunity to surprise us. Especially in terms of security software updates, the company is constantly doing quite appreciative work. The Korean giant brings every new monthly update even before the end of the previous month; like now, it has rolled out the May 2023 security. For serving the new security update, the company doesn’t follow any pattern; it randomly picks any device that is eligible for a new update irrespective of its popularity or price range.

The May 2023 security update is rolling out for the Galaxy A10e with firmware version number A102NKOS3CWD1. It is currently available for Korean users. Being a four-year-old device, it is no more eligible for any new Android update, but as Samsung supports five-year security support for devices, Galaxy A10e should receive some more security updates in the future as well.

Samsung Galaxy A Series can take 4 Android OS update

The latest security update doesn’t bring any new features with it. As usual, it will enhance the device by fixing the security vulnerabilities. Currently, there is no other information available on the official page regarding the new security update. Therefore, it is not possible to describe it in detail, but we will share it in further articles as soon as we get the proper information.

The Galaxy A10e is one of the entry-level smartphones. Samsung launched it approximately four years ago; the device came with Android 9 (pie). Later it received two more major updates, and currently, it is running on Android 11. Being an entry-level device, it is also possible that this could be the last minor update because, in some cases, Samsung doesn’t follow the five-year security update policy completely.
