Samsung Galaxy A14 5G gets One UI 5.1 update in the US

Samsung has recently rolled out the latest One UI update in the form of One UI 5.1, and it is the latest upgrade of skin that includes new features which enhance the utility of the device. Having a large catalog of the device now, the company is updating some remaining devices. Now the Galaxy A14 5G is getting the new One UI 5.1 update.

Currently, the Carrier locked variant of Galaxy A14 5G is getting the update on two carriers, including Verizon and US Cellular. The Verizon-affiliated unit is receiving the update with version number A146USQU2BWD4, while the US Cellular-affiliated unit is getting the update with firmware version number A146USQU2BWD1. The latest update also includes the April 2023 security update, which enhances the overall security of the device.

The One UI 5.1 update has brought many big improvements for flagship-level devices, but the Galaxy A14 5G comes with some fewer features. According to the changelog, the update includes several enhancements for many system-level apps, including Gallery, Multitasking, weather, and Samsung Internet. Apart from these, the update includes a battery widget, as well as now you can take fun pictures and videos with up to three friends.
