Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A52 LTE back in 2021. The company has packed it with Android 11, which was the latest Android available at that time. Later, the device grabbed new major updates, and due to this now, it is running on Android 13. In the last major update, it also grabbed the One UI 5.1 update.

With the latest development, Samsung has rolled out a new security update in the form of a May 2023 security patch for the Galaxy A52 LTE in Argentina. The latest update comes with a firmware version number A525MUBS5DWE1.

The May 2023 update is one of the regular monthly security updates. According to the official changelog, it doesn’t mention any new features, but it describes some improvements and enhancements to the stability of the devices.

Furthermore, the update brings over 70 security flaws to the device; from those, over 50 patches were included by Google, which aims to strengthen the security of Android OS. And 21 more fixes were done by Samsung, which resolved the issues present in the Galaxy devices.

As said earlier, this was a minor update that focuses on the enhancement of the security of the device, so it doesn’t bring any new tweaks or addition to the UI. However, the device has already received the first major update of the year in the form of One UI 5.1, which brings several new features under several inbuilt apps, including a Camera, Gallery, Modes and Routines, weather and many more.
