Earlier, Samsung rolled out the May 2023 security update for Galaxy S23 on two carriers, including T-Mobile and US Cellular. But with the latest development, the update is now available on more carriers including unlocked users.

Informatively, the May 2023 security update is now rolling out for carrier-locked variants of Galaxy S23 series devices. The update is now available on two more carrier networks, including Spectrum Mobile and Xfinity Mobile (Comcast). 

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra devices are receiving the May 2023 security patch with different version numbers S91*USQU1AWCD. On the other hand the carrier unlocked users can find the update on build number S91*U1UES1AWC9.

The May 2023 security update includes some new fixes that ultimately bring smoothness to the working of these apps. Moreover, the update doesn’t include any new features; it is just one of the monthly updates that is released by Google for Android smartphones.

Moreover, the May 2023 security update brings over 70 security vulnerability fixes; from those, Samsung has also included some more security patches that are exclusively available for Galaxy devices.
