It’s been months since we started to receive reports regarding Big G’s newer Android version. The Moutain View giant has recently launched the second Beta of Android 14. The good thing is, this time, some other OEMs also joined with Google and made Android 14 Beta available for some of their devices. However, due to some unknown reason, the popular brand Samsung is currently out of this league. Let’s know why?

Samsung Android 14 Beta Program

If Samsung is delaying Android 14’s Beta for its Galaxy devices, there may be some reason behind it. However, that’s not the thing because the Korean firm may not release it for Galaxy phones and tablets publically, but they are testing this new OS with its upcoming One UI 6.0 software internally. Reports say that Samsung is currently testing Android 14-based One UI 6.0 in its Galaxy S23, Z Flip 4, and Z Fold 4 devices.

It is expected that Samsung will bring this Beta program to its Galaxy devices publicly in the upcoming months. Usually, it launches the newer OS and UI’s Beta version in the third quarter of the year, and after testing various beta versions, finally, the Korean firm releases the stable version. Samsung serves quality in Beta programs, unlike the other non-Google OEMs, who offer a very stripped-down Beta version of the software at first.

For example, the infamous company Nothing’s Android 14 Beta update lacks support for various elements, including the Glyph interface, Nothing’s stock apps, and numerous other custom software features. On the other side, Samsung’s Android Beta looks like a near-complete update. Samsung’s delay surely isn’t a disadvantage but a “good things take time” issue. Whenever Galaxy user gets it, the Beta update will be rich in terms of features as well as quality.
