Galaxy S23 Update Introduces Video Call Switching to Nearby Galaxy Tablets
In February, the Galaxy S23 made its impactful entry with a focus on camera prowess. With remarkable performance that satisfies users, it’s evident that the Korean tech giants are relentless in enhancing the overall user experience.
The Galaxy S23 gets some major updates that introduce innovations to the device. Like in an earlier May security patch update, these devices got a massive camera update or improved the camera performance; now the company is rolling out a new update for the device that lets users transfer video calls from the smartphone to a nearby Galaxy Tablet.
As pre the information, the update is available in China. The latest feature of transferring video calls works with Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Tab if both have a video call-switching feature. However, Samsung hasn’t revealed any limitations, but this feature is expected to be available for native video call only. This feature is quite useful for those who want to see more details on a large screen via video calls.
The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are receiving the update with different version numbers, S9110ZCU1AWD3, S9160ZCU1AWD3, and S9180ZCU1AWD, respectively. It is still using February 2023 security patch and comes in a 362.12 MB software package. The update is based on One UI 5.1.
This feature works on devices with the same Samsung account. This is a very appreciated feature, but it may be limited to China. However, Samsung is planning to introduce some new improvements to the Galaxy S23 camera features.
