Earlier, Samsung claimed the One UI 5 Watch Beta would be available at the end of May, but Samsung hasn’t released the update yet. This indicates the company has postponed the update schedule for the Galaxy watches; however, we could be able to receive the update by the first week of June.

Why is the One UI 5 Watch Beta delaying?

On the Samsung community, a user has asked about the beta update; responding to that, the Beta operation manager said, “We sold out to proceed with the Watch beta in May, but the coordination to reflect Google’s Wear OS 4.0 took longer than expected, so the start schedule was unavoidable. We apologize to customers who have been waiting for the beta to open in May. We will do our best to prepare for the beta with a more stable SW so that the beta can start as soon as possible”.

As far as the availability of the update is concerned, it is confirmed that the One UI 5 watch beta will be the first available in the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series should recessive the update in South Korea and the US.

The upcoming One UI 5 watch update will come with some significant features for the watches, the update will be based on the Wear OS 4, so it certainly confirmed that it should include these features.
