As per the official information, Samsung has promised to give at least four years of UI updates to Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro; on the basis of that, it is confirmed that these watches will be eligible for the upcoming One UI for watch. As far as availability is concerned, it is expected that a stable update may be available in the next couple of months.

One UI 5 beta is coming soon

Before releasing the stable version, Samsung will serve a beta version of the update for the eligible watches; earlier, it was expected that Samsung would drop the One UI 5 Watch Beta update in May, but due to a lack of coordination between Google and Samsung, the beta program is taking longer time than expected, and it could arrive in June 2023. How to register One UI 5 Watch beta

To participate in the One UI 5 Watch Beta Program, you must register through the Samsung Members app on your device:

  1. In the Samsung Members app, log in with your Samsung Account. If you do not have a Samsung Account, you can easily create an account on the Samsung Account site.
  2. Once logged in to the Samsung Members app, select “Notices > Registration for One UI Watch beta Program.”
  3. Complete and submit the application form. If you meet the participation criteria, you will be enrolled in the One UI Watch Beta Program.

Once you successfully enrolled in the beta program, you will get a notification about the availability of the update for your device; now you have to tap on it and install it. After this, you can enjoy it and also share your feedback to the company.
